I love Usborne books. They’re interesting, informative, and full of great illustrations and photographs. When I’m reading to my kids (which I do every day), it’s nice to have books that I can enjoy, too.
Lately, for example, I have learned a LOT about pirates. Did you know that Elizabeth I had her own pirates, whom she encouraged to capture Spanish ships and steal their treasure? She even knighted those guys. We learned this in The Queen’s Pirate – Francis Drake. You know, this sounds suspiciously like “history” to me, but my 6yo son thinks it’s just fun!
I became an independent consultant for Usborne Books & More just to get free books, and boy, I’ve gotten a lot of them. My goal with this site is to share these books with the world, sell some books, make some money, and get more free books!
